AG Kardiale Magnetresonanztomographie
Die AG MRT beschäftigt sich mit der Entwicklung, Etablierung und klinischen Anwendung magnetresonanztomographischer Verfahren zur Evaluation von ischämischen und nicht ischämischen Herzerkrankungen. Themen für Promotionsarbeiten sind jederzeit verfügbar.

AG Koronarphysiologie
Die AG Koronarphysiologie beschäftigt sich mit funktionellen Durchblutungsstörungen am Herzen. Schwerpunkt der Forschung sind Gefäßspasmen und mikrovaskuläre Dysfunktionen sowie deren Beziehung zu anderen Gefäß- oder Herzmuskelerkrankungen.

AG Molekulare Bildgebung und Kardiomyopathien
Die AG Molekulare Bildgebung und Kardiomyopathien beschäftigt sich mit der Diagnose und Therapie von erworbenen sowie angeborenen Herzmuskelerkrankungen. Es werden Möglichkeiten der molekularen Bildgebung zur frühzeitigen Erfassung von Herzerkrankungen (in Form von Herzmuskelentzündungen) untersucht. Ein weiterer Schwerpunkt der Arbeitsgruppe liegt auf Herzerkrankungen bei Patienten mit genetischen Erkrankungen wie der Muskeldystrophie.
